This notice outlines how we, as a credit provider, collect, use, and handle your data when you submit your personal information through this Credit Account Application Form.

We take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold about you against loss and unauthorised access, use, modification or disclosure.

Collection Circumstances

We may collect the following personal information as part of the credit account application process:
name;
address;
email address;
date of birth;
contact number;
information provided to us via the contact form;
details of you identity documents such as driver's licence and/or passport;
your income and employment details;
your assets and liabilities; and
sensitive information such as any criminal record.

Purpose of Collection

We collect and use your personal information within your Credit Account Application Form for the purpose of processing your credit account application. This includes carrying out required credit checks and reviews, as well as registering any security interest.

Failure to provide the requested information may result in delays or rejection of your application.

Disclosure

We typically disclose personal information of the kind collected by us for credit assessment purposes. This includes disclosing your relevant personal information to credit reporting bodies for credit reporting purposes. We will obtain a credit report from these credit reporting bodies to assess your creditworthiness, and this will be recorded as a credit enquiry on your credit report. • how you may complain about a breach of the Part IIIA, Division 3 of the Privacy Act in relation to Credit providers and how we deal with these complaints; and
• whether we disclose credit information or credit eligibility information to entities without an Australian link, and if so, outlining the relevant countries.

Overseas Disclosures

While we do not routinely disclose personal information to overseas recipients, there may be instances where this is necessary to disclose personal information for the same purposes we collect it. If practicable, we will inform you of the countries involved via our Privacy Policy.
